How can we help you?
Archiving old data
After some time you might find that your project list is long. There’s a few ways to keep things clean:
Archive inactive projects
The easiest way is to simply archive old projects. They no longer appear in your projects lists or on mobile but you can still run reports on them. On the Mac/PC version, just go to Edit->Projects menu.
To see archived pull up any report on your Mac/PC and click the projects filter which will usually be named All Projects then choose to include the archived items.
Alternatively, you can go back to Edit->Projects and unarchive some projects.
Re-arrange projects
You can also simply move less active projects further down the list and separate them by dividers. On the Mac/PC version, just go to Edit->Projects menu.
Hide old sessions
If you archive a project above, the sessions no longer show unless you choose to include the projects in a report.
However you might wish simply to not see old sessions without archiving a project. You can mark items as Done and then choose to hide done items in the preferences.
Purge old data
You can also delete projects from the Edit->Projects menu. This will delete all sessions in those projects.
Or make a report for an old date range, choose Edit->Select All and then Edit->Delete Sessions menu.
If you don’t wish to permanently lose the data, try using File->Backup Now first and name the backup appropriately first. See more info on viewing old backups.
