Computer sync via a shared drive

If you’re not using cloud sync, you can share your data between multiple computers via a shared drive such as Dropbox, OneDrive or iCloud Drive. It will work with any folder that’s shared across computers.

In OfficeTime, choose File->Move File menu and choose your shared drive. On your other computer, in OfficeTime choose File-Open and select your file.

Important: You must close one OfficeTime before opening the other or the two will fight over updating the file. In some services such as Dropbox this will lead to an extra file named something like “OfficeTime Data (Conflicted Copy”). One on computer choose File->Import menu and import the conflicted file to recover lost changes.

If you’d prefer to simply use OfficeTime without having to remember to close a copy, try switching to cloud sync. Use Help->Sync menu to sign in for a free trial on each computer.
