Since so many of our users are freelancers or small businesses, we thought we would share this week’s TGIF Time Management tips on marketing! Enjoy (and feel free to pass it on.)
#1. Feed your Tweets through to your other social media platforms. Yes, Twitter does have at least one cool purpose – it’s to keep all of your social media updated with one shot. You can set this up either through an account with SocialOomph – or by simply using the apps on the other account (Facebook, Linkedin, etc.).
#2. Create a Bing Business Portal listing and register with Yahoo! Local. Local marketing is best when you don’t have to touch it – it just WORKS. Bing and Yahoo will help you get found in regional searches for your niche / service.
#3. Participate in Q&A sites like Quora, Formspring, Linkedin, etc. This is an easy way to exchange expertise, create some great SEO and NOT spend a ton of time doing it. Schedule 10 minutes twice a week for this and you’re golden!
