#1. If you become overwhelmed by too many commitments, go back to basics – what’s your #1 priority. If it’s revenue, do the most revenue-generating tasks first. If it’s clearing the task list, do the easy stuff or outsource a few things.
#2. When you are scheduling tasks into your day or week, leave gaps of time within each day for the unexpected crisis or interruption.
#3. Say no when people ask for favors. Only say yes if you really have time (and energy) to help them.
Remember, time tracking means owning your time. If means knowing what you spend your time on (and what you don’t). Time management is not a science, it is an art, and the better you are AT time management and time tracking, the more likely you are to succeed in your life and your business.
