Each morning, every day of your life from birth to death, your personal Time banker hands you a new account, all to your name with 86,400 seconds. Amazingly enough, your personal Time banker will not discuss with you any previous day’s time losses, he is very forgiving. He does not require any restitution either; the rule is that the account must be spent to zero balance within a 24 hour period. The 86,400 seconds can not be hoarded, or stored, or saved, not offered to someone else as a loan. You must use all of them. The next day your balance will be zero.
Consider anyone who has given 86,400 and blew past its entirety in one day without anything to show for that amount. Take a minute, close your eyes and spell out loud enough for you to hear the adjectives that came to your mind about that person. Now, make the comparison. We are all given the same numbers of seconds to spend every day. How do we spend out time given?
We should identify the 3P’s of time are:
Time is priceless. You simply can not buy more time.
Time is perishable. You can not save your time for later use.
Time is a priority. You will have enough time for anything on top of your priority list.
Someone loves us enough to give us this enormous gift of time every day. Would this offer you a wonderful reflection & motivation every morning? It’s amazing how that can affect your entire day and your interactions with people you encounter throughout it.
Until next time,
Yours truly,
