TLDR: OfficeTime 1 no longer works on some modern computers. Version 3 works happily. You can get a discounted upgrade until Jan 31, 2026.

If you update your computer with the most recent updates, you may find that OfficeTime no longer launches or parts of it no longer work.

The last release of OfficeTime 1 was over a decade ago. At the time, we did all we could to ensure it’s longevity. A decade for software to survive what Apple and Microsoft throw at it is actually pretty darn good.

OfficeTime 1 is so old that we no longer even have the ability to write bug fixes for it. All current fixes go into the latest release.

Of course, the modern version of OfficeTime works fine all new and most old computers. All of your data is kept.

We gave out free updates to OfficeTime for 15 glorious years. Unfortuantely a small business like ours can’t add big, new features for free and remain in business. So, we charge for big updates. We’ve had two in the past decade. We add things that make it easier to track and report your time and people report they more than pay for themselves.
