Yes, indeed. Romancing the customer or the client is practically a must (and fun) in today’s business world.
Take the first step. Go first. Approach them. Contact them. Ask to know their interests. Invite them over. Be genuine interested in their presence. Open your business to them. Show them around. Let them understand how proud you are for what to have to offer, but most importantly how important it is for you to have them as customers or clients. Take a little time before you make an offer.
It is so important for you, the owner, to understand that you need to “Give to Earn”. As difficult as it seems to be, it is your investment to the relationship you would need to cultivate. Take your time, if you are looking at a long term relationship. It is the downpayment for the long haul; keeping the client or guest for years to come. It is the small price of time and money that you have to pay to have customers or clients eager to spread the good will about your business to prospect customers or clients.
Besides the “Lust” for your products or services, romancing the customer or client will enable you to earn their “Trust”. Trust is proven to be an extremely important component to the success of any business.
It is very unfortunate, but it’s likely you will experience a rejection once in a while. Don’t worry. Life goes on. Do not dwell on it, a quick inventory of what went wrong, how to correct it and move along; an entire army of people are ready to fall in love with you, your product(s) or your service(s). Do not keep them waiting.
Make romancing the customer or client fun as it should be. Have you been romancing your customers or clients? Would you share your company’s special ways of courting your customers or clients?
Until next time,
Yours truly,
