ID-10050790In the name of revenues and profits, we forget to remember that many successful leaders with equally successful companies were very likeable. It is a simple concept; show your associates, customers or clients, peers and business partners the highest regard and many others will be motivated to work or do business with you. What does it take to be that likeable, better leader who will drive success?

You can only be great if you love what you do. Passion is the foundation of your success and the main pillar to your organization as it is highly contagious. Increasing the passion will amazingly boost productivity and profits. The great leaders keep an element of surprise up their sleeve that is too difficult for others to grasp, which keeps their public excited and breathless.

Be the best listener; it will cultivate great relationships. Listen to wants and needs, to challenges and new ideas. Listen to the shareholders, investors, and competitors. When you finish listening, captivate your audience by sharing a great story to sell your products or services. Your story telling should drive the customers to action.

Authenticity attracts the best personnel and customers or clients. Your integrity should be your crown jewel. Be humble; even show vulnerability, you will create the optimum: positive, attractive energies. Great leaders are transparent. These leaders’ honesty leads to happier staff, colleagues, partners and customers.  This type of leader is also more productive.

The culture of success is a trademark of a successful leader. Let others shine, allow innovators to flourish, follow the team rules with humility and sincerely celebrate all successes of any and all team members. Show you care, give them a say, allow them to have that positive impact on your company.

Take stock: Is that the successful, likeable leader you are now or the leader you will strive to be?

Until next time,

Yours truly,
