Truth to be told LinkedIn has over 238 MILLION members! For biz owners looking to promote their services to new clients, LinkedIn is the platform to embrace. How would you leverage the power of LinkedIn?
Could it be as simple as: Be Seen, Be Talked About, Be Talked About more and then Be Seen again?
Be Seen: Post updates, research, and make yourself (and what you do) known daily. Increase your visibility. Post compelling information to read and avoid promoting yourself or your services on a daily basis. In short, romance your audience.
Be Talked About: Ask your most devoted associates or clients to share your company’s updates to their profile and reward anyone who follows up. Appreciation is ranked very high on the list of “what your professional associates expect from you.” Do not underestimate the power of gratitude.
Be Talked About: Ask your best clients or customers to post reviews for your company. Again, the key will be to reward them. What could you possibly do to promote their services? I suggest promoting their services with a great review and a genuine recommendation before you ask for their support. Have you tried it? Once you send a recommendation through LinkedIn, the system automatically SUGGESTS the person do it in return. Not bad, eh?
Be Seen: Post pictures and videos on your profile – less than 10% of users are currently adding videos to their profile, so it’s a sure way to stand out. Post thank you notes to those promoting your biz (tip: go for gratitude videos). This is the latest way to impress your audience and spread good will.
