Here it is, another Monday!  Another week of hundreds of emails, dozens of phone calls and a to-do list that won’t quit.  Sound familiar?  Here are 3 Time Management Tips to help you leap tall buildings in a single bound!

#1. I don’t tout my own product here too often, but if you’re not signed up for OfficeTime (the best – and easiest – time tracker out there, then you’re probably not being as effective as you could be.  Time tracking means owning your time and knowing where you spend your time on (and where you don’t).  Grab your complimentary 21-day trial of the OfficeTime time tracker at http://OfficeTime.net

#2. Before you start any phone chat, whether business or personal, say with the magic words, “Hi there, I just have a quick minute…” It sets the tone for a brief conversation and avoids offending anyone who might need more.  If they do, just remind them that you only had a quick minute and set up a more convenient time to chat later in the week.

#3. Take a Break!  Yes, you might FEEL like taking those ten or fifteen minutes to kick back, enjoy a cold drink and clear your head is something you just can’t afford.  But the truth is probably that you can’t afford NOT to do that.  Those few minutes can add hours of inspired creativity and effective productivity. You’ll also enjoy your day more, which is invaluable.
