How can we help you?
Computer sync via a shared drive
If you’re not using cloud sync, you can share your data between multiple computers via a shared drive such as Dropbox, OneDrive or iCloud Drive. It will work with any folder that’s shared across computers. If you have a shared folder on a local network, this is a great way to keep your data out of the cloud.
In OfficeTime, choose File->Move File menu and choose your shared drive. On your other computer, in OfficeTime choose File->Open and select your file.
Version 3 Personal. This edition is designed to be open on one computer at a time. You must close one OfficeTime before opening another. In some services such as Dropbox having both open will lead to an extra file named something like “OfficeTime Data (Conflicted Copy”). One on computer choose File->Import menu and import the conflicted file to recover lost changes
Version 3 Pro. You can have OfficeTime open on as many computers as you like. Note that because shared drives are not always up to date, it may take a couple minutes for changes on one to appear on another copy.
Other ways to sync:
Cloud sync: Simply sign in on each device and it’ll keep itself updated. Use Help->Sync menu to sign in for a free trial on each computer.
Mobile sync: With the Pro desktop edition, you can privately sync your mobile device to multiple computers. Whenever you have both the mobile and the desktop app open, it’ll sync. This way your mobile device will update any desktop.
