Is Multitasking the Enemy of Productivity & What does it do to Time Management? It will come as a surprise to most of us to find out that only 2 percent of the work force can multitask effectively. If that is true, then 98 percent of us, who try to multitask almost every moment of every day, actually impair our productivity rather than help it – and what does that do to our time management???.

In fact, even the small percentage among us who can refocus between tasks at a much higher speed than the rest of us, are probably NOT truly multitasking.

Is a teacher multitasking? How about the event producer who works on multiple tasks concurrently; is he/she multitasking? The answer is, only if they are in the 2 percent.

If you prioritize to perform the tasks on hand in the order of importance, you will then must give every task your undivided attention and enjoy the fruits of their total and timely completion. This will increase your productivity and add to your effective time management.

Yours truly,
